Disclaimer:

We decided to show both, the rankings of John and me, others may follow in the future, if they covered enough ground within Europe or at least everything important in Germany for a German list. This is because on the one hand any ranking by a person will be per definition subjective, but we try to be as objective in our selections as possible. We chose to go with "Europe", since apart from a few US cities and some minor other destinations, it's not nearly enough to warrant anything called "Global". One last note: Europe can also be understood as "continental Europe", since the last London trip is 6+ years away, so we will wait until the next London trip in 2025 to update the list with possible choices from the UK capital.
