Negroni And The Goat



Recipe:

- 45ml dry gin

- 22.5ml Aperol

- 22.5ml red vermouth

- 15ml Averna amaro

Stir on ice for at least 20 seconds for enough dliution, strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube, garnish with an orange zest.

Another nice Negroni variation for amaro fans like me. Since the Aperol and amaro already bring more sweetness than a Campari, I would advise a rather dry, classic gin and not a fruity/sweet New Western style.

Good balance of dry rhubarb and grapefruit zest from the Aperol, spices, bitterness and freshness in harmony.
