DEUTSCH | ENGLISH

A wonderful drink with white port wine - which I love intensely and find even more interesting than your standard tawny ports - The Frank's Cocktail. A pleasantly simple name that already sounds beautifully old-school when reading the equally simple recipe. The choice of cognac and port is, of course, what makes all the difference here. Floral, fruity cognacs such as Grapediggaz VSOP or Pierre Ferrand 1840 work wonderfully with delicate white port. I can recommend Ramos Pinto, Bocas & Churchill's, to name but a few. The Frank's is "soothing," as they say in English, warm, smooth, and elegant, yet full-bodied. Grapes, honey, flowers, almonds, and more.
